Why We Built This Site
Connecticut makes many court records available, but it does not offer residents one public statewide warrant lookup. New Britain is also a city, not a county, and its criminal matters run through the New Britain Judicial District and Geographical Area 15 of the Superior Court. Judges issue criminal process, court clerks keep the case files, and New Britain police apply for and serve arrest and search warrants. The Judicial Branch case search may reveal a related pending case, while the GA 15 clerk and police provide the direct confirmation route. This site brings those roles, links, and limits together without claiming to be an official record source.
What You Will Find Here
- Lookup routes: how the Judicial Branch case search, GA 15 clerk, and police confirmation channels differ
- Open process: what an outstanding or active warrant status means and why a clear web result is not conclusive
- Missed appearances: how Connecticut bench, rearrest, and failure-to-appear process can arise
- Arrest process: how a Superior Court warrant moves from an application to police service in New Britain
- Next steps: why a person should speak with counsel and the issuing court before arranging a surrender or seeking recall
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Connecticut court, New Britain police, or any government agency. Its limits are firm:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the New Britain Police Department that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party companies operate the search boxes shown on some pages. A paid signup may generate a referral fee that supports the site. Each provider controls its own prices, data, and results. Those results are not Connecticut Judicial Branch records and cannot replace confirmation from the GA 15 clerk or New Britain Police Department.
